About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Game Designer geometry dashto join our development team. In this role, you’ll shape the player experience from concept to launch — designing engaging gameplay systems, levels, mechanics, and features that keep players coming back for more. You’ll collaborate closely with artists, programmers, writers, and producers to bring ideas to life and ensure a cohesive, immersive game experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype compelling gameplay mechanics, systems, and levels that align with the project’s vision.

  • Develop game design documentation, including mechanics specs, flowcharts, and feature briefs.

  • Collaborate with art and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementation.

  • Balance gameplay through iteration, playtesting, and feedback analysis.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of player psychology, game balance, and progression systems.

  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging gameplay styles to inspire innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in game design for shipped titles (mobile, console, or PC).

  • Strong grasp of gameplay systems, level design, and user experience (UX).

  • Proficiency with design tools (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Miro, Figma, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Creative problem-solver with an analytical mindset and love for games of all genres.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with scripting or visual programming.

  • Knowledge of monetization design, live ops, or multiplayer systems.

  • Passion for emerging technologies like AR/VR or AI in gaming.
