Stickman Hook is a creative game development company dedicated to building fun, engaging, and innovative mobile gaming experiences. We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology operations and ensure that our infrastructure supports the needs of our growing development team.

Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. This role oversees network administration, cybersecurity, cloud services, hardware and software management, and technical support. The successful candidate will work closely with developers, designers, and management to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the IT department.
  • Maintain company networks, servers, cloud platforms, and storage systems.
  • Ensure maximum uptime for all business-critical systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor network performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
  • Plan data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Support game development tools, build servers, and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage software licensing, hardware inventory, and IT assets.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and technology partners.
  • Prepare and manage the annual IT budget.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
  • Train employees on IT security and company technology policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Strong *************** and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the gaming or software development industry.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps environments.
  • IT certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified, or CompTIA Security+.
  • Experience with Agile development environments.
