Budget Analyst

Car Games Free is a browser gaming company focused on developing and operating online car games, including racing, driving, drifting, off-road, parking, stunt, and car crash games. We are looking for an experienced Budget Analyst to support financial planning and help the team make informed decisions about budgets and operating costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets.
• Monitor actual spending against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.
• Prepare financial forecasts and regular budget reports for management.
• Analyze costs related to game development, content, marketing, technology, and operations.
• Work with different teams to collect financial information and improve budget accuracy.
• Track planned and actual project expenses.
• Identify opportunities to control costs and improve resource allocation.
• Maintain financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting dashboards.
• Support management with financial analysis for new projects and business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience building financial models and analyzing budget variances.
• Good understanding of financial planning and cost management.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work with large amounts of financial data.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Experience working with technology, gaming, digital media, or online businesses is an advantage.
