Key Responsibilities


  • Booking & Logistics: Research, quote, and book complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including air, rail, hotel, and ground transportation, ensuring optimal routes and fares.

  • Policy Compliance: Rigorously adhere to and enforce the company's established travel policies and budgetary guidelines.

  • Custom Itineraries: Create, manage, and distribute detailed, accurate travel itineraries and documentation (including visa and passport requirements) for all travelers.

  • Cost Management: Utilize vendor negotiation skills and Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to secure preferred rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • 24/7 Support & Crisis Management: Act as the primary contact for travelers, providing real-time support for unexpected changes, delays, cancellations, and travel disruptions outside of standard business hours.

  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all bookings, expenses, and travel data for monthly reporting and cost analysis.

  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong working relationships with preferred airlines, hotels, and car rental agencies.


Qualifications



Required:


  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Travel Agent or in a high-volume business travel management role.

  • Expert proficiency with at least one major GDS system (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or Worldspan).

  • Demonstrated ability to book complex international itineraries, including multi-city flights and complex ticketing (exchanges, voids, fare rules).

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with executives and senior management.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.


Preferred:


  • Certification such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with expense management software (e.g., Concur).

  • Knowledge of visa and foreign travel documentation requirements for key international business regions.
